EU project

Subject: Development of electromobility and support for EV.

On April 1, 2019, we began to work on the project “We do IT with Energy” which focuses on the development of electromobility and supports the operation of EVs. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Project title:

“We do IT with Energy – realization of industrial research and experimental development works in order to develop a dynamic and optimal system of geolocation of electric vehicle charging stations in the aspect of the criterion of individual users’ driving”

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Program of the Voivodeship of Silesia for 2014-2020 Priority Axis: I. Modern economy, Action: 1.2. Research, development and innovation in enterprises.

Eligible expenses of the project: PLN 4,107,344.28
Co-financing: PLN 3,151,522.92
Implementation period: April 1, 2019 – March 31, 2021

Project goal:

The main goal of the project is to eliminate one of the identified barriers to the development of electromobility in Poland resulting from the limited number of EV charging points by developing a dynamic and optimal system of geolocation for EV charging points in the aspects of the criterion of individual users’ driving. The result of the project will contribute to a positive change in the attitudes of owners and users towards electric cars, thus it will boost the chances of increased interest in their purchase, which also means a reduction of harmful substances released into the atmosphere. The results of this research will be implemented into the entrepreneur’s business activity, namely into Kotrak S.A. business activity.
